| Panasonic Lumix TZ8 |
The Panasonic Lumix TZ8 is basically a scaled-down version of the TZ10. It has a smaller screen, no integrated GPS, and no stereo sound or AVCHD videos. It does, however, still have the excellent 25-300 mm zoom lens and 12 effective Megapixels.
With its 10x zoom and backlit 10-Megapixel sensor, the Casio FH100 looks like a direct rival for the Ricoh CX3. Casio is a brand that's often overlooked these days, but its first 10x zoom compact is pleasantly surprising.
