Conclusion
The Cyber-shot WX7 is intended to bridge a gap between Sony's entry-level compacts (with which it shares a lens) and high-end models (from which it takes its BSI CMOS sensor and Full HD video mode). All in all, though, the camera's low-grade build isn't exactly convincing ...
The Canon Ixus 220 HS is a nice surprise. It takes good-quality pictures, it's very well made and it's user-friendly. You'd be hard pushed to find anything better in the same price range.
