The S3000 is certainly very attractive, but its tech specs remain fairly standard stuff, with a 12-Megapixel sensor, 4x zoom (27-108 mm—not bad for this type of camera), no mechanical stabilisation and tight screen viewing angles.
Will that be enough to stop the S3000 becoming the next best-seller? Time to find out!
