Camera Review: Nikon S3000 Seductive Snapper

Nikon sold over 180,000 of its S220 entry-level compacts in 2009, and is clearly hoping do even better with the model's colourful replacement, the Coolpix S3000.

The S3000 is certainly very attractive, but its tech specs remain fairly standard stuff, with a 12-Megapixel sensor, 4x zoom (27-108 mm—not bad for this type of camera), no mechanical stabilisation and tight screen viewing angles.

Will that be enough to stop the S3000 becoming the next best-seller? Time to find out!
