Constantly connected, the Garmin nüvi 1690 is also constantly updated. Traffic info is faster and more reliable, speed cameras better indicated and new search modes have appeared. Will this be enough to compete with TomTom's LIVE services?
The Medion GoPal E4245 is an entry-level device. Nevertheless it has a full complement of features and does the job well. Good value for money.
