For this update of our graphics card review, we're looking at two models. First of all, NVIDIA's latest little beauty and then an ATI mid-range card.

The GeForce GTX 460 isn't just one more NVIDIA Fermi card. No, here NVIDIA have revisited the chip design to try and eliminate the imperfections of the first cards in the 400 series. Have they succeeded?

Released in February 2010, the Radeon HD 5830 is another card in the Radeon 5000 range. While it does obviously have DirectX 11 compatibility, what about energy consumption and gaming performance? Does it stand up to the competition or should it be avoided?

As always don't forget you can check out all the results of our tests in the graphics card face-off. Why not play the GeForce GTX 460 off against the Radeon HD 5850. Finally, you can take a look at our graphics card performance index to check out overall perforance of all cards tested.
