Announced a few months ago and much anticipated, Sony's Google TV was therefore expected to be one of the stars of IFA 2010, making its first appearance in the hi-tech world.

And like all stars, it's a capricious little number. Look at it, on its white stand, a nice demo running which shows us almost nothing.

No new info. No way of knowing whether or not this is the definitive design: an LED TV, slim but not too slim with a rounded back in glossy white.

According to said demo, we can only say that the Google TV will, of course, be putting the accent on search engine tools and Chrome as well as on its community-based capacities. Online gaming, videos, music, some chat and internet searches. This is currently what we know about the Google TV, or rather Sony Internet TV, its provisional name.

We still have Google CEO, Eric Schmidt's press conference to look forward to tomorrow at IFA, which could shed some light (or not) on the company's intentions for our living rooms.
