Dell U2211H
As we promised last week, we've decided to make up for the lack of monitor reviews recently with two very big tests.  First up is Asus' latest attempt at a 120 Hz display, while the second, from Dell, marks a turning point for IPS displays.

We were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the Asus VG236H.  As a 120 Hz screen, it offers responsiveness that earlier generations of LCD monitors could dream of, but can also be paired with a recent Nvidia graphics card and the 3D Vision kit for gaming and movies in three dimensions.

Our second monitor review is the Dell U2211H, an IPS-based monitor from the UltraSharp series that has already provided classics like the U2410, the 2209WA  and the 2408WFP, all of which scored a full five stars when they visited our lab.  If Dell has put as much care and attention into the latest member of the family, then this could be a great monitor.
