New tests for projectors: lens-shift

Ever since we started the Face-Off for video projectors, we've been trying to think of a way to provide a way of demonstrating the performance of a feature which we think is very important, lens-shift. After years of thought and several days of Photoshop time, here's the result ...
Let's be honest: the graphic alone isn't particularly straightforward. That's why it'll come with the following explanation: 'in this test, the projector is three metres away from a wall on a stand 50 cm from the ground. The dotted lines show the maximum distance that the image can be moved using lens-shift in four directions: up, down, left and right.'
Results
For the projector in question--here, the Mitsubishi HC6800--you can see that it's very good at pointing the image down, and most of the frame drawn in yellow dotted lines would actually end up on the floor. It's less impressive in other directions, though. As a result, if you want to mount it on the ceiling, it will better hanging the right way up (and not upside down) to get the most of the downward-pointing lens shift. You'll have to make sure it's pointing straight at the screen, too, as it struggles moving from lef to right.
