In the world of HDTVs, two big manufacturers have made a change of direction: Samsung, one of the leading producers of LCD TVs has just released a plasma screen, while Panasonic, which usually prefers plasmas, has produced an LCD.Both have shown that the choice of technology is largely irrelevant: Samsung and Panasonic alike know how to make high quality equipment using either system, as our results show.
The 50'' plasma Samsung PS50A76, which also has a 63'' version, the PS63A756, and the LCD Panasonic TX-37LZD81, available as the 32'' TX-32LZD81, both performed excellently and are well worth investigating if you're in the market for a new television.
