Nokia is no novice when it comes to ultra-resistant mobiles. The 3720 Classic is specially designed to withstand being knocked, dropped and splashed with water. A standard entry-level phone, it is expected out this month.

The Classic has been designed to handle all environments. With soft lines, less tough and masculine looking than the Solid B2100 (waterproof), this model looks like a normal phone. It has nevertheless been specially designed to protect its electronic circuits when splashed with water for example. It is closed with a screw.

It is equipped with a large torch, a 1 GB Micro SD card, Nokia Maps, a 2.2 inch screen, FM radio, an audio player, a 2.2 inch photo sensor and it also has a long battery life (7 hours of GSM conversation). Size: 115 x 47 x 15.3 cm for 94 grams.

The 3720 Classic should be out in July.
