ViewSonic has just announced a pair of new monitors available in Europe for under 400 euros (510 USD / 315 GBP).
As you can see, the only real difference between the two is in terms of connectivity. The VA2616w (left) only has a single analog VGA port, while the VA2616wm (right) has analog VGA as well as the digital DVI and HDMI connectors.
Interestingly, it doesn't feature Display Port, despite Apple's insistence that it's a 'new industry standard' during the launch of the new MacBooks earlier this month.
Finally, if you're tempted by these 26'' models, you might also be interested in another ViewSonic, the VX2640w which we recently tested.
It's a little more expensive, but it couples digital connectivity (HDMI and DVI) with a faster 3 ms response time which will appeal to gamers.
