Here's an e-mail we recently received from a reader who's lost the manual for his digital camera. As we often get requests like this, we thought the answer could be useful for all our readers.
First things first, we aren't in the habit of collecting user manuals here at DigitalVersus. We usually receive a manual with each product we test, which we then return to the manufacturer with the product once we've finished with it. Sometimes though—and this isn't uncommon—we don't even get sent a copy of the manual in the first place!
In any case, we don't have a stock of manuals and instructions ready to send out to our readers. Thankfully though, most manufacturers make PDF manuals or e-manuals available on their websites. Fujifilm is one such manufacturer. In the 'Service and Support' section of the Fuji UK website you can search for user manuals and—hey presto—you can download a manual for the S8100fd.
This doesn't just apply to digital cameras. For most products, replacement manuals can usually be found online on the manufacturer's website and sometimes even on specialist third-party sites. However, if you still can't find what you're looking for, you'll need to contact the manufacturer's customer services or after-sales department to ask if they can send you a replacement copy.

| I've lost the manual for my Fuji Finepix S8100fd, do you have a digital version you could send me? If not, where can I get a new manual from? Thanks in advance. Regards. |
