With a well-earned reputation for building solid, well-designed laptops, Sony also likes to innovate.  That side of the manufacturer's personality is very evident in the Vaio P31ZK, which is smaller and lighter than a netbook, as well as in the Vaio CW1S1E, which is decked out in an attractive pink.

Before getting involved with netbooks, Sony came out with this unique computer that doesn't line up with our conventional expectations.  The Sony Vaio VGN-P31ZK is long and thin, and this pocket-sized computer that we found to be full of surprises.

A more traditional mid-range laptop, the Sony Vaio VPCCW1S1E stands out thanks it to its  colour.  It manages to combine performance and style to produce a very attractive proposition.
