Use a laptop for gaming?! Why not? Travellers also like to take their favourite games with them and need to own a machine with a sufficiently powerful graphics card. We've selected three afordable models to add to our Product Survey today.

The first is from Asus. The G50V has a 15'' screen but can display a 1680x1050 pixel resolution. A real challenge for its NVIDIA 9700M GT graphics card

The MSI GT725 houses what you can only call a monster in laptop terms: the ATI Radeon mobility HD4850. Far more powerful than the other two machines in our survey today, it easily gets a 5 star rating thanks to an excellent showing on all our test titles.

Toshiba closes the session with a machine that gives great audio, the Qosmio X300. Tristan (our sound tester) was very impressed and for only the second time since our survey began, gives a 5 for audio. For gaming, the manufacturer has gone with a 17 inch 1440x900 panel and an NVIDIA 9700M GTS. A well-thought out solution as the processing power needed for games is 26% less than the Asus.
