What does the Google TV interface look like?

We've already written about the new Google interface for TVs, Blu-Ray players and media centres. A new presentation video is now available.

Google TV will be introduced into some TVs (Sony has already signed), Blu-ray players and multimedia boxes. Logitech will be offering its first set-top boxes between now and the end of the year.

Based on the Android system, Google TV will put the accent on synergy between internet and TV content. With this video you can see that you need to enter text to access many of the options. Not necessarily to everyone's taste - entering text from your couch isn't necessarily very comfortable or rapid.

There aren't many details yet but one thing is certain: the interaction will be via smartphone apps. Tablets will no doubt come in useful...
