Who's Buying Blu-ray Players?

Despite Apple's reluctance to throw its weight behind the Blu-ray format, preferring to push downloads from iTunes instead, it looks like consumers are increasingly happy with it.

A recent report from the Blu-ray Partners association, 12.3 million Blu-ray disc players have already been sold in the US, of which 4.8 million were PS3s, compared to 7.5 in Europe (5 million PS3s).  Last time we asked our own readers about Blu-ray, 89% of PS3 owners reported using theirs to watch films.

According to the Blu-ray Partners, the three most popular players are:
