Whoops! Panasonic accidentally confirms that LX5 to replace LX3 camera

Well, the suspense is over—rumours had been circulating for months, but, until now, there was no definitive news about a potential follow-up to one of our favourite cameras from 2008.

But we've just found out that a new LX5 will replace the LX3, via the sort of clumsy leak that we all love, visible for everybody to see on Panasonic's own website.

The secret was unearthed by 43rumors.com, who discovered that customers filling in a survey on the manufacturer's website are invited to identify the product they've purchased from a list of options. And amongst the digital cameras, just after the LX3, there's the as-yet unheard-of LX5.

It's just a shame that the product page isn't actually linked to the survey, so we don't actually know anything more about it, other than its name ...
